“Not the intense moment
Isolated, with no before and after,
But a lifetime burning in every moment.”
― T.S. Eliot
Life really is passing us all by at lightning speed. Whether you have a booked calendar in a hectic workplace or spend your days soothing the cries of a teething child, one day you will turn around and it will either be your retirement party at the office or you will be watching that same child at his college commencement ceremony. It all happens in a blur and the important thing is to be mindful of the moments; to capture them and to savor them; to know them and to cherish them whether they are mountain top experiences or seasons of agonizing defeat.
That is what I do on this site. I am a photographer of moments using words, pretty much. I simply record life as it happens and share my thoughts and observations related to lessons learned and observations made along the way. No matter what my particular journey is, I know that the specific vicissitudes of my human experience–spiritual and otherwise–are in some ways endemic to us all.
Thank you for stopping by and, if you blog, please feel free to mention your blog in your comments as I would enjoy reading your writing as well.
